Encaustic Workshop for Raw Begginers

Date: October 2
Time:10:30 to 3:30 P.M.
Cost: $65 Including material

Are you curious about working with wax?  This Workshop will introduce you to the basics of how to get started and work safely.  We'll explore creating textures, adding , subtracting, scratching, using paper and whatever else time allows.  It will be fun!  Supplies will be provided so all you'll need is a note pad, your curiosity and readiness to experiment.

My backround is printmaking and I became intrigued with the surface texture that I saw with wax.  I've been working with encaustic for about 5 years.  I am a member of Mendocino Artists Cooperative.

To register for the class call Lisa Orselli at 937-4271 or email at landb@mcn.org
