Colorful bands of ultramarine, purplish blues and charcoal gray tones softly transition into each other, in this striped handmade lokta paper from Nepal. Handmade by village artisans, each sheet is unique due to the artistic processes of folding the sheet and soaking it before applying the dyes, achieving a subtle blending of colors with an almost watercolor effect. Each sheet is then dried naturally in the sun for its final “solar” cured finish. Deckle edges on all sides add to its handmade beauty. Eco-friendly and acid free for a multitude of fine art uses.
